Creating A PDF on iPad and iPhone in Safari

Because of Jonahan Wylie's written instructions on how to quickly do this, I learned two things.

• The four lines in the omni bar in Safari remove all advertisements on a web page
• Creating a PDF is really easy

I created a video that should compliment Mr. Wylie's fantastic written workflow!

Lunch N' Learn Questions & Answers From Staff

Something a little different today (and possibly next week if we don't get through the material)!
I sent a form out to staff asking for technology integration questions of which I would provide the answer!  I didn't provide the link only an image below as I required log in from district.

Print Webpage From an iPad

Utilizing Open In - Workflow & Notability Apps Made It Happen

After taking five screenshots with my iPad based on the digital workflow of utilizing the "Open In" feature that I used, I utilized the Workflow App and the process of a screenshot how-to workflow. Once I completed the workflow, I exported the product into Notability.  Notability helped me add text and additional direction lines.

The finished product was then exported into Google Drive for sharing!

Two apps made my life easier:

Using Safari Efficiently on the iPad

Today's Lunch N' Learn is all about using Safari with all of its amazing built in features to efficiently and effectively complete research and reading on the iPad.  It is my hope to instruct teachers who will in turn share these great features with their students.

Highlights:

*Integration Coaches: I created the presentation on my Mac in Keynote.  I used AirDrop to send it to my iPad which is what I will use for presenting.  I exported the Keynote from my Mac as a PowerPoint which in turn was uploaded to Google Drive for sharing!   

24 Google Slides Templates You Can Use On Your iPad

There is no shortage of Google Slide templates found on the web that can be in addition to "already created" templates with in Google Slides.

While browsing for templates, SlidesCarnival makes the "Hey, Look at me!" statement that you can't ignore.  The templates are fantastic!

View them within categories

• Formal
• Inspirational
• Creative
• Simple
• Startup
• Elegant
• Playful

or All Templates

On the web, using them is quite simple,

• Find the template you like
• Scroll down slightly and click "Use This Presentation Template"
  
• Logged in or not
• The template will show up in a browser tab
• Click File
• Make a copy...
• Rename if needed
• Edit, Duplicate, Add slides as needed

Start creating...

However, this process does NOT allow you to use them on an iPad.

My solution.

Using THIS GOOGLE FOLDER, all of the templates have been downloaded into this folder as a .PPTX.  Clicking on this FOLDER in the Safari web browser will allow for downloading the file.

Once the download has completed, A "Open In..." feature will be present so that it can be opened in the Google Slides app.

Once you have opened it in the Google Slides app, adding images and adjusting the text is easy.
